the Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain “ART SHOPPING” at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris
The autumn 2024 edition of the Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain “ART SHOPPING” at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, was held from October 18 to 20, bringing a rich and enchanting artistic touch to this season, becoming a veritable glittering pearl on the world art scene. This highly anticipated artistic event attracted visitors and art lovers from all over the world, who immersed themselves in an ocean of creativity and deeply felt the fusion of art and inspiration.
Our Association (ASFEA) This year, our Association brought together 16 exceptional artists from different countries. Like shining stars, they brought unique and profound creations, revealing a deep reflection on contemporary society, culture and the human condition. Each artist painted a personal artistic chapter with the brush of the soul, evoking intense resonance and emotion in the audience.
The works presented in this exhibition are varied and include video, performance, painting, sculpture and installation art, using a multitude of forms of expression. Each piece is like an open door to a world of infinite possibilities, inviting visitors to enter the artists' richly imagined worlds, and discover a beauty and vibrancy that transcends time and space. With their unique perspectives and innovative techniques, the artists offer viewers a veritable visual and spiritual feast, captivating their senses.
The diversity of the artists represented in this exhibition has enriched the event. Their works, through their form and theme, highlight remarkable individuality and creativity. The inclusion of traditional Chinese painting also added a profound cultural dimension to the exhibition, transporting viewers into a symphony where ancient civilization and modern art harmoniously respond to each other.
The opening evening left a strong impression. It began with a body art performance entitled “Primitive Fear”, staged by director Chen Hongxia and the A-play troupe of artists. This performance offered a visual and emotional collision, full of primitive force, instantly immersing spectators in a deep art world. Following the performance, musician Laure and her team presented a concert of classical music, where the gentle tones of the cello mingled with those of the powerful horn, creating a musical atmosphere both peaceful and uplifting, comparable to an autumn breeze caressing the soul.
The exhibition drew an impressive crowd, with art enthusiasts coming to admire and experience. The lively stage and warm atmosphere once again proved the powerful attraction and influence of ART SHOPPING. This visual and aural feast not only added artistic sparkle to the exhibition, but also immersed every spectator in a world of art, revealing the infinite charm of creativity and culture.
During the exhibition, the artists actively interacted with the public, enthusiastically sharing the inspiration behind their works and their creative process. Their presence enriched the content of the exhibition and created a warm artistic atmosphere, allowing each visitor to enter into an intimate dialogue with art.
The opening ceremony also featured a major awards ceremony, with the presentation of gold, silver and bronze medals in the painting category. Five outstanding artists were honored. The jurors highly praised their work, considering it a testament not only to their exceptional talent, but also to their important contribution to the development of contemporary art. Cheers and applause echoed throughout the room, testifying to the remarkable achievements and infinite potential of these artists.

Thanks to the diversity and richness of its artistic presentations, the ART SHOPPING International Contemporary Art Fair continues to serve as a bridge between artists and spectators from all over the world. This autumn's edition not only showcased the diversity and innovation of art, but also profoundly influenced each participant, enabling them to immerse themselves in this artistic universe, to grasp the charm and boundless inspiration of creation. Like a grandiose autumn symphony, this fair is not only a celebration of art, but also a magnificent stage for cultural exchange, opening a new chapter in the development of contemporary art.
