3. LIANG He

梁贺.jpg.png

Born in Guangdong, China in the 1980s, he currently lives and works in Beijing and Hong Kong. An Oriental artist who is both entrepreneur and creator of works of art.

Having grown up in Guangdong, regarded as the cradle of China's reform and opening-up, LIANG He witnessed China's gradual opening-up to the world, as well as the exchange and conflict between Eastern cultures and the outside world, which formed a contradictory and contradictory image of China. The exchange and conflict between Eastern cultures and the outside world formed a contradictory and colorful world of thought.

These elements enabled him to grow and think in circumstances of radical change and turmoil, which also enabled him to think and create innovatively, breaking almost all conventional conventions, something rarely seen in other art creators with a conventional aesthetic background.

The “Angel” series is a personal metaphor for Liang He's understanding of life. All around, it's dark, only a handful of people emit a faint glow, their actions unsynchronized, in no fixed order.

In recent years, the loss of his father, the arrival of a child, the upheavals of entrepreneurship and the pandemic have given Liang He a deeper understanding of life. He seems to have silently completed a cycle and passed the baton. Although the paintings depict a father and son, they also show how a developing person faces up to his past and leaves it behind.

Liang He is convinced that each individual must face the world independently. It's possible that at some point, a person may accompany you to face certain things, but in the end, he or she will leave. The Angel series is like an agreement between you and your own inner self, or the people who protect you in your life. This agreement eventually leads you to spiritual growth and rebirth.

鐘育修.png

Born in Taiwan and raised there, the quest for freedom is one of my modest yet grandiose characteristics. Surrounded by artistic cells, I like to experience art in different ways. I learned elegant classical and modern dance at an early age, then followed the path of metal and rock as an electric guitarist and husky vocalist. From high school to master's degree, from France to the UK, I've traveled many different learning paths and explored many different forms of artistic expression. My life trajectory is ever-changing, but my inner world is always rich.

When it comes to painting, I often use different creative techniques such as oil, acrylic and three-dimensional mediums. I also develop multiple ideas and styles during brainstorming sessions. My most representative style is characterized by black and white tones, accompanied by relief works with symbolic connotations.
